Do You Remember?
Directed by Clara S. , Written by Madison Y. , Edited by Jade K.
Starring Aiden G., Aeralyn S., Jackson B., Maritza C.
In this film, our group studied all the events that had happened during the quarantine. Our goal was to show how people were reacting to the news and also how some people have just accepted this as their new reality. We initially started our film in January with the Australian wildfires and we made sure to keep the reaction to the news dramatic to try and represent how people were actually reacting to this in the beginning of the year. As the film goes on we talk about something different every month. In February we addressed the 40,000 bees that swarmed first responders, In March we talked about Covid-19 and we continued on with relevant topics for each month.
Our film “Do you remember?” was made by my group to show how crazy we feel the year has been. At the beginning of the film, we talked about the Australian wildfires and gave a big reaction to it because of its importance at the time, then as we introduced more that was happening throughout the year we gave less and less reaction. This was for comedic purposes to show how careless we became with news that was being given out. It shows how people slowly cared less and less as they became desensitized.
