This film had to be based on Covid 19, Covid 19 has thrown many curve balls to people. Today there are currently 14,755,996 cases of Covid 19 in the United States. By having this many cases it has caused us to go in to lockdown, this has made many people feel lonely, unmotivated, and overall just not themselves. It has made everyone's life a bit harder in its own way. When my group and I were told to make this film we didn't want to have our audience sit there and feel sad about what they are viewing so instead we decided to bring some light to it. Our idea was to look at each month Covid has affected, we did research on the major things that have happened each month. Then we decided to take one person from that month and sit them down and interview them. This idea came from the show The Office, we wanted to have that same style because my group and I find it very funny and think that this style of film can help bring light to Covid 19.
The things we chose for the film were due to the fact that at the start of the year, and towards the middle people would joke about what would happen each month, progressively getting worse. So we decided to record as if each person was a month. We thought this would work well with the current climate of the world. It also helps the filming process, because it would make sense for each month to have a different background based on their experiences during quarantine, some messier, and some neater than before.
